We are meeting every Sunday morning at 2232 Algoma Spur Road, Sagle, Idaho – just south of Sandpoint, Idaho near Pend d’Oreille (Ponderay) Lake, sixty-five miles south of the Canadian border. We meet at 9:30 AM. The services are led by Rev. Bob Evans, an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ with a BA from Sheldon Jackson College and an MDiv from Bangor Theological Seminary. He also studied World Religions and Chinese Philosophy at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada.
Come as you are! We are not formal, but we do have a, worship and learning together format. We start with live music provided by local musicians, poets and artists, followed by a welcome and question response time. It is at this time that a major question from the previous service, that didn’t have time to be addressed then, will be briefly discussed.
This is followed by a scripture reading and the “Thought for the Day,” presented by Pastor Bob. A “Talk Back” time which gives everyone the opportunity to express their thoughts follows the thought for the day. At this time everyone is encouraged to ask questions and state their concerns about what was said. Everyone is encouraged to participate.
Private consultations can be arranged by calling Pastor Bob @ (208) 946-7314.
